A new storm system threatens millions of people in California with flooding and other damage. The so- called “atmospheric river” is hitting the northern part of the state with heavy rain and snow. This system could worsen the damage already done by storms that dropped feet of snow in some areas. Flooding from new rain and melting snow is what officials are really worried about.
