China’s foreign minister blamed the U.S. for rising tensions between Washington and Beijing on Tuesday, and warned the U.S. that there will be “conflict and confrontation” if the U.S. does not change its path. “The United States’ so-called competition is total containment and suppression, a zero-sum game in which you die and I live,” foreign minister Qin Gang told reporters at a news conference in Beijing, on the sidelines of an annual parliament meeting.
