California’s record snow traps people in homes

Record snowfall has blanketed California's Sierra Nevada mountains, burying some communities under nearly four metres of snow and trapping people inside their homes. Jackson Proskow looks at the rescue efforts, and what the snowstorms mean for a state used to severe droughts.
