Variety Show of Hearts: Helping kids stay active

Sophie was born with Spina Bifida, a condition that affects her spine, and in turn, affects her mobility. Determined to be active, Sophie takes part in skating, swimming and bike riding, but extended periods on her feet can be very painful. Variety was able to provide funding for a manual wheelchair to help Sophie maintain her mobility.
