B.C. government to make Orange Shirt Day a stat holiday

The B.C. government is introducing legislation to make the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation a provincial statutory holiday. The day, also known as Orange Shirt Day, has been marked on September 30th since 2013 and as of 2021 became a federal stat holiday.
