China admits 2nd balloon over Latin America is theirs, entered airspace ‘by mistake’

Another suspected surveillance balloon spotted over Latin America is from China and is for civilian purposes, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Monday in Beijing. "The airship deviated from its intended route and entered the skies over Latin America and the Caribbean by mistake," Ning told reporters at a news conference. Moreover, she said China and the United States should handle the Chinese unmanned airship entering the U.S. airspace in a calm, proper manner without the use of force.
