A longtime CBC journalist and editor died Tuesday night after “medical complications” following an assault seemingly at random, according to a CBC report. Michael Finlay had been walking along Danforth Avenue last Tuesday when he was assaulted by another man. Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect.
