Paramedics no longer qualify for the same salary they once received when taking part in the province’s JeContribue campaign. The government program was aimed at encouraging health workers to get involved in the battle against COVID-19. But since the beginning of the year, paramedics say their salary has been cut by one third when they take part in the program. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
