Tornadoes swept through central Illinois on Tuesday, as severe storms triggered weather warnings across the region. As of Tuesday night, the National Weather Service (NWS) recorded six tornado touchdowns in the region, while on the lookout for more storms. Local emergency services advised people to take shelter and stay away from the area.
