NY snowstorm: Governor Hochul highlights ‘heartbreak’ of deadly New York state blizzard

During a news conference on Monday about the powerful winter storm that swept through New York state, Gov. Kathy Hochul expressed her condolences and highlighted the urgency of the situation as the total death toll from snow-related fatalities rose to 25. “The families who are getting horrible, heartbreaking news that their loved ones succumbed to the storm over the last day or two; our hearts are breaking for them and we’ll be there to support their families and get them through this,” Hochul said.
