Families, Children and Social Development Minister Karina Gould unveiled new legislation on Thursday aimed at enshrining the Trudeau’s national child-care program in federal law. Gould said the new legislation would make it harder for future governments to undo the government’s $10-a-day child-care agreements with provinces and territories.
