No injuries were reported after a building fire on George Street early this morning. Peterborough Fire Services were called for reports of smoke at a George Street building. Emergency crews say the third floor was full of smoke when they arrived. Flames were found at one apartment unit and put out before they could spread any further. Damages are estimated at $75,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
