As the population ages, demands for new senior homes are on the rise. Plans are in the works to build a new long-term care home in Pointe-Claire to allow the city’s senior citizens to stay in their own community. Details on its size and when it will be built are still unknown. But people are thrilled a new home for the elderly is in the works. Global’s Felicia Parrillo has the details.
