B.C.’s new doctor payment model puts pressure on other provinces

To address a nationwide shortage of family doctors, British Columbia will launch a new payment model to compensate these physicians in February 2023. This would make that province’s family doctors among the highest paid in Canada. Jamie Mauracher explains how other provinces are being pressured to follow suit.
