Former Ottawa Police Service chief Peter Sloly testified at the Emergencies Act inquiry on Friday, regarding the trucker protests from earlier this year. Sloly, who resigned just days after the act was invoked, testified the protest in Ottawa was "overwhelming his force" while his officers were doing their best to peacefully end the occupation.
