The former Ottawa Police Service Chief Peter Sloly testified at the Emergencies Act inquiry on Friday, regarding the trucker protests from earlier this year. Sloly, who resigned just days after the act was invoked, testified the protest in Ottawa was “overwhelming his force” while his officers were doing their best to peacefully end the occupation. Plus, in its newly-released assessment, the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security is outlining the top online dangers — and they involve some large targets, but an average person could get hit anytime. And billionaire Elon Musk purchased Twitter for $44 billion.
