City of Peterborough residents have chosen who will represent their community for the next four years. Out of five mayoral candidates, Jeff Leal emerged victorious Monday night. Leal, a former councillor and a longtime MPP for the area, will become the next mayor of Peterborough, and he says his priorities lie in addressing housing, the opioid crisis, and collaborating with Peterborough's surrounding neighbours.
