A Peterborough city councillor is hoping to take his experience in municipal politics to the next level.
Henry Clarke was first elected as councillor in 1997, and has since spent 25 consecutive years in the role, with 14 of those years as the city’s first deputy mayor.
He says his focus is on climate change awareness and action, improving the downtown area, more affordable housing, and tackling Peterborough’s opioid crisis.
He joined Noor Ibrahim on Global News Morning Peterborough to share some details on his goals for the city.
