Queen Elizabeth death: Can King Charles III keep the monarchy alive?

During her reign, the queen was head of state for as many as 32 countries, but at the time of her death, just 14 remained outside the U.K. And in those countries, the succession of King Charles III has prompted a royal re-think with a growing number asking if the time is right to abolish the monarchy.
