Nobody was injured after a vehicle crashed into a pole in Port Hope Tuesday night.
Police and emergency services responded to reports of a single vehicle collision on County Road 28 just north of Highway 401 around 10:30 p.m.
A witness told Global News the vehicle had been swerving in and out of its lane before leaving the lane, mounting a centre median and striking the pole.
The driver was checked out by paramedics, but no injuries were reported. She was then brought to Port Hope Police Service to submit a breath sample.
OPP did not confirm if any charges were laid for impaired driving.
The pole was damaged, but remained upright.
