Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore encouraged anyone aged 18 to 59 with an underlying medical condition to get a second COVID-19 booster, but said for young, healthy adults a second booster is “not absolutely necessary.” He said people in that aged group could wait to receive their second booster in the fall when bivalent vaccines are available.
