Roe v. Wade overturned: Trudeau calls U.S. Supreme Court decision an ‘attack’ on freedom and rights
Description
June 24, 2022
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday that the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to overturn the landmark Roe v. Wade abortion ruling from about 50 years ago was an "attack" on women's freedom and "on everyone's freedoms and rights." He said they would continue to defend a woman's right to choose and work to expand access to the full range of reproductive services across Canada.
