NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh asked the Liberals during question period on Wednesday about support for Canadian families as home sales dropped in May and a recent survey found almost one in four homeowners saying rising interest rates could lead push them to sell. He asked why Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “refused to deliver” financial support to families. Trudeau in response directed Singh and MPs to talk to Canadians who have seen benefits, like childcare investments.
