Courts use Gladue report to take background into consideration

Changes have been made to Canada’s laws and courts in an attempt to provide context for the historic traumas inflicted on Indigenous people, leading them into conflict with the law. Legal Aid Alberta lawyer Jessica Buffalo joined Global News Morning to explain what a Gladue report is and why it is important in the court system.
