Easing into retirement may be common for many Canadians but not one Ontario-born man who's taking on the challenge of a lifetime. The 64-year-old is setting out on a year-long kayaking expedition with a hefty fundraising goal for two charities. Alexa MacLean chatted with him ahead of his launch in Halifax.
