Despite being compostable, Halifax coffee cups still end up in landfill

As the federal government’s ban on single-use plastics looms, many businesses are trying to do their part to reduce their use. One Halifax coffee shop has brought in 100 per cent compostable cups to reduce their environmental impact. But as Ashley Field reports, they may not be getting composted as intended.
