NDP criticizes federal budget on environmental spending

The NDP may be working together with Canada’s Liberal government, but leader Jagmeet Singh said on Thursday he still disagrees with parts of the newly-tabled federal budget. “We’re concerned – deeply concerned – about the approach on the environment, particularly the carbon capture, which there’s lots of concerns of whether that is effective or not,” he said.
