Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced details of his government’s new climate plan on Tuesday, which calls on the oil and gas sector to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 42 per cent from current levels to meet 2030 targets. The plan also introduces a tougher schedule to shift Canadian vehicle sales to electric models.
