Vancouver when Howard Hughes arrived was not the metropolis of today

When Howard Hughes checked in to the Bayshore Inn on March 14, 1972, Vancouver was a bustling port city but a far cry from the metropolis of today. Vancouver historian Aaron Chapman tells Global News it was a surprise to everyone Hughes came here at all.
