City of Toronto officials provided details on their planned response to a winter storm expected Thursday, with Transportation Services general manager Barbara Gray saying while it’s a “fairly normal” snow event, they have “all hands on deck” and will deploy vehicles once rain turns to freezing rain. She said plows will be deployed once snow reaches certain heights. Vincent Sferrazza added they have equipment deployed in strategic locations, but the “relatively” quick transitions from rain to freezing rain may pose a challenge.
