Winter storm hitting GTA will take some time to dig out with gusting winds: Farnell

Global News Chief Meteorologist Anthony Farnell says the snow continues to fall around the noon hour in the GTA, though it’s a lot lighter than it was this morning. As people try to dig themselves out, it’s going to be difficult to move around with most major highways in the GTA shut down. Gusting winds in the 50-60 kph range continue to create drifting and blowing snow conditions.
