Lawyer Jonah Arnold said on Tuesday that the $107 million decision reached for family members of some of the victims of the Iranian military’s downing of a passenger jet two years ago was “precedent setting” and “the first of its kind in Canada.” The decision followed a May ruling that the missile strikes amounted to an intentional act of terrorism.
