COVID-19: Saskatchewan premier defends not implementing more restrictions amid case surge

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe on Thursday defended his decision not to implement new restrictions amid a COVID-19 surge in the province and across the country. The premier said while more measures could be implemented “in the days and weeks ahead,” the province has a vaccination campaign and rapid tests available that are helping to break the transmission cycle.
