On Thursday, Canadian Minister of Border Security and Organized Crime Reduction Bill Blair elaborated on the federal supports being provided to British Columbia amid its catastrophic flooding and subsequent damages. He said on Wednesday, the government approved a request for assistance from B.C. (including air support for evacuations and personnel to mitigate flooding effects). Plus, at the request of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Blair convened an incident response group, comprised of all implicated ministers.
