The BC Coroner’s Service has unveiled staggering new numbers on how many people died during this past summer’s record-breaking heat wave. Nearly 600 people lost their lives from complications of the scorching temperatures. The majority of them were elderly and were by themselves when they died. Kylie Stanton reports.
