Anyone wanting to obtain their Class 1 commercial driver’s licence in B.C. will soon have to take an entry-level training course. Effective October 18th, new potential Class 1 drivers must complete an ICBC- approved Class 1 mandatory entry-level training (MELT) course before taking the road test.
