U.S. surpasses 700,000 COVID-19 deaths

More than 700,000 thousand people have died from COVID-19 in the U.S. since March 2020, making it the country’s worst pandemic in history. As Jennifer Johnson reports, while new cases and hospitalizations are starting to decline, there are fears that another variant could follow Delta’s deadly surge.
