With a surge in COVID cases, hotel rooms are being used to house people who have fallen ill and need to self-isolate. Among those being put up in hotels and motels right now are people experiencing homelessness in Kelowna. This after a recent outbreak at a homeless shelter, one that was not declared by Interior Health. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
