U.S. President Joe Biden on Saturday issued an emergency declaration for the state of Louisiana, as Hurricane Ida approaches the Gulf Coast and is expected to hit Louisiana on Sunday. Biden called Hurricane Ida a “very dangerous” storm and warned residents to “pay attention and be prepared.”
