Residents living on the northwest side of Okanagan Lake, are dealing with news the White Rock Lake Wildfire is much closer to their area than previously thought. As the fire fight on the massive 32,500 hectare blaze continues, the BC Wildfire Service is also setting up a large scale camp in nearby Vernon.
