Feds expand Canada Workers Benefit to include nearly 1 million more workers

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland announced on Wednesday the expansion of the Canada Workers Benefit to include nearly one million more low-income workers who didn’t previously qualify for the program. This will give up to $1,400 for single workers, or up to $2,400 for families through tax returns.
