British Columbians were not able to attend social events and get together with friends and family but the COVID-19 pandemic did benefit one industry - the B.C. wine sector. Data provided to Global News found at the beginning of the 2020 lockdown, British Columbians sipped up to 15.1 million litres of wine at home.
