Wildfire smoke may spread infectious disease, experts concerned

With a hot, dry summer expected for much of Canada, the threat of wildfires is growing. And as it does, some researchers are concerned the flames could churn up more than just dust and smoke, potentially spreading pathogens. As Global News’ Jamie Mauracher explains, experts question what that could mean for the airborne spread of COVID-19.
