Manitoba's chief medical officer of health Dr. Brent Roussin announced Thursday new COVID-19 restrictions ahead of the May long weekend, which include limiting outdoor gatherings to only people from the same household. As well, only one person per household is allowed to enter a business with the exception of caregivers for a second person. He also advised people only go out for essential reasons.
