Manitoba’s premier, finance minister discuss solutions to surgical backlogs in 2023 budget

Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson spoke on Tuesday alongside the finance minister, Cliff Cullen, regarding the province's investments in the 2023 budget. Stefanson said the province outlined a commitment of $130 million to reduce Manitoba's surgical and diagnostic backlog by forming a working taskforce as well as expanding partnerships with surgical clinic to ease wait times.
