In Victoria, Tiny Homes Village is now housing people who were recently camping in city parks. The community raised more than $500,000 to fund the capital expenses for 30 transitional housing units built from repurposed shipping containers. Each 100 square foot unit has a bed and mini-fridge. There is 24/7 staff and security and residents get two meals a day.
