Quebec tables bill to reinforce and protect French language

After months of discussion, Simon Jolin-Barrette, the minister responsible for the French language has unveiled wide-sweeping reforms to Quebec’s French language charter. As Global’s Raquel Fletcher reports, Bill 96 aims to “reinforce” French as the “common language” and the only official language in the province.
