All adults in thirty-eight designated COVID-19 hot spots in B.C. are now eligible to receive the vaccine, including the District of Summerland and the Rutland neighbourhood of Kelowna. Shelby Thom takes a closer look at why Summerland is considered a high-transmission community, and the efforts underway to stop the spread of the virus.
