Nova Scotia parents and the IWK Health Centre are participating in a national study on how pandemic-related visitor restrictions have impacted children in pediatric intensive care units. As Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, the goal is to help design family presence policies that can be adapted in the event of future threats.
