BioNTech CEO Ugur Sahin said Wednesday that they were seeking more details on reports out of Israel of heart muscle inflammation following vaccinations with the PFizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, but said at this time they had not seen evidence or unusual incidence from other countries using the shot of such symptoms. He said they would continue to pursue reports, but that they were anecdotal at this point in the opinion of the company.
